bagi kediaku lah, i better go with engine conversion rather than FI upgrade. also it may save u few $$ & risk-free drp blowing up the factory renesis.
below ani mau dipikir bana:
- long term reliability
- power vs money wise
ok let say tani mod the renesis to FI upgrade (turbo/sc). is there any reliable rotary mechanics (expert) yg sanggup rebuild enjin atu kalonya kondem? to rebuild an enjin cost more than to get a used engine - fact! rotary mechanics here not familiar with renesis but have a good knowledge on earlier rotaries. in terms of reliability, worldwide proven that a stock RE with proper maintenance have a long life with high mileage, contoh plg ampir my 12A. RE biasanya kana rekomen rebuild every 100,000km with new apex seals, side seals etc. but so far my 12A runs more than 200,000km dah with non-functional OMP for more than a year (which is bad for the seals). with a used 13B-REW (stock) + EMS u can get more than 250hp+ which is few much more hp than FI-powered renesis. if nda puas with power then P&P enjin a2, upgrade to racing seals, lighten rotors & bigger than stock turbo.300hp+ easily achieved.
if i had $15K kitty to modify the car, for sure will go for 13B-REW conversion. if i had $60K, will go for 20B but then engine balancing is the issue (sini mana ada bikin maah).
juz my seposen :)
